	This is the maia, who carries the sun, the last fruit of Laurelin. My friend Anja suggested that I try mosaics and it was actually enjoyable. I'm really pleased with this one as it has lots and lots of colours, but no stupid shadows or details that are missing because of the scanner. Arien, Laurelin and all of that stuff is from Tolkien's book The Silmarillion, and thus copyright Tolkien.

Amazing picture - you make really good use of the style. ^_^ My one teeny-tiny little gripe is that Arien carried the fruit of Laurelin, not the flower from Telperion - that was Tilion. But that's just me being obsessive. ^^;; Once again, fantastic image. ^_^

28 Oct 2008	Heidi Hecht	Loading... This is a cool mosaic. I would’ve said stained-glass but that is difficult to do with watercolor and markers. She looks good.
