SciFi and Fantasy Art Escape from Gondolin by Gunvor Paludan


	An old picture of Tuor, Idril, Eärendil, Glorfindel and some female elf on the run after Morgoth decided to attack their home. I love the story about Gondolin, but I am somewhat disappointed with myself for painting this picture. Maybe I'll try again some other time.

29 Sep 2005	Kaymeyer	Loading... I see a tremendous amount of potential in this -- it's not easy to have multiple figures in a piece and have them relate well, which these do. A bit more study on the anatomy -- they seem a bit stiff (as mine often do and I'm fighting with) but the color is very nice -- it's one of those pictures that when I look at the thumbnail it is actually more intriguing.

11 Dec 2005	Tournesole	Loading... If I lived in Gondolin the Fair, the home of Turgon the Mighty, I might not believe that the Hidden City would really fall, even as I'm flying to the cold mountains to the North. I think this is a wonderful piece.
