  | My obsession with the fall from grace continues. Here we have Eve picking the apple. I am not going to paint the serpent in the picture, firstly because I don't like painting snakes, and secondly because I don't like the idea, that Eve had to be tempted by Satan into taking independent will, consciousness and divine knowledge of good and evil. I would have taken it before you could say apple. This is a sketch for a watercolour painting, and I'd appreciate your help, as I haven't decided what to paint for the background. I thought about a lot of twisted treetrunks and branches, but if any of you have a better idea, write me please! |
