But as a painting it is better; but your paint seems like it got so thick that it became real pasty... but I dont know really... As for the mods choice... thats pretty weird most of the time I can slightly understand their decision. Well anyway great painting and keep up the good work! Teela Anne Stoll replies: "Almost the first comment, hehe. The reason it's pasty is because I wanted it to be... I have plenty of paint thinner. Stylistic choice, I guess. Maybe I'll try for absolute realism someday. Maybe. My picture probably isn't original enough for mod's choice, heh, but it isn't the destination... yeah. Thanks for commenting!" | |
| 11 May 2004 | Kirsten Niliphim Cartoski | Loading...beautiful work here! photographs, i have found, are quite helpful when it comes to doing compositions such as this. what medium(s) did you use in this piece? Once, again, great job. Kudos, Niliphim *first comment dance* Teela Anne Stoll replies: "Yeah, I've tried work without photographs, but it's never as good - I haven't yet learned to imagine tiny important shifts in light. This was done in oil paints. Thanks for stopping by!" | |
