Summer has started and I feel like I should completely redo my Elfwood page. I mean, here I am whining about how much free time I have and my page looks like it hasn't been dusted since last Christmas! So I think I'm going to find a REAL picture for my bio, write a ACTUAL bio, and write a story worth putting up so I can get rid of the stuff there that's like three years old (and baaaaaad).
Wish me luck!

:-) Alice B. Hyde replies: "I've had a niggling feeling to that same effect. . . . Maybe I should write something. Update. Et cetera.

Nahh. . . .

Good luck in your endeavors! Hopefully you shall be more successful than me. Than I? No wonder I can't write anything.

Go Beavs!"

Did you want to know when Stone and Shadow chapters went up? I cannae remember... anywho, too late now, so yeh, next one be up.

Write something?

16 Alice B. Hyde replies: "Egad. *poke* What are you doing here? *pokepoke* I thought you were dead. *pokepokepoke* Your page was certainly very dusty. Maybe incessent poking brought you back. Except you commented before I poked you.

*ponders this mystery*

To your query, I can't remember if I was on your list or not, either. Might as well drop an update comment; it makes my page look more lively! And I've been fiddling with an idea . . . if it works you may see something new up here soon!"

I just read a few of your stories, well written! You should write some more sometime, or if you have written more and haven't put them here pass them on to me or post them here, I'm still out of books to read you know.

1 Alice B. Hyde replies: "I wondered if you were going to comment. . . . Most of what I have is up here, except for the finished Hoodie-Crow, which you've read. And I doubt I could finish anything before Sunday anyway, after which you won't need it anymore!

You seem to have forgotten you commented. "

'Allo Alice! Long time, no comment! It's very annoying- the computer I'm on won't let me log on to my regular sf&f art page, but it will let me log on to the fanart and I have no idea why.

How are you doing, by the way? I know I just emailed you, but still. All right, I'm off to have lunch! See you on the 23rd for REGISTRATION!! AAAAAAAAAA!

22 Alice B. Hyde replies: "'Allo? 'Allo? This is the German Coast Guard. What are you sinking about?

Egad! It's a Becca! Don't mention registration! Igh! That's . . . not soon. Three days isn't soon. It's not soon at all. Besides, even if it was soon (which it's not!) there's still two weeks after that until school starts. Two weeks. That's not soon.

Tick tock tick tock."

I updated! (finally)

You should comment on other peoples pages more too. You don't do much on Elfwood anymore.

:-) Alice B. Hyde replies: "Stimmt, weil ich nicht viele Zeit hat. Vielleicht werde ich nächste Woche etwas schrieben. Aber ich weiß nicht, wenn ich das an Elfwood posten werde. Ah well."

Hello! People haven't been commenting here much, and that's probably because you haven't done anything to your Elfwood page for a while. A very long while. You need to write more stories!

:-) Alice B. Hyde replies: "Tja, ich weiß, aber ich habe keine Zeit!"

Just leaving a note for all the Elfwood Writers!

The Keys to becoming a successful author! Take care of them. - you must always remember this when you are writing. Sight, sound, taste, smell and feeling! They are simple, but many times, if you miss one of these, the book or story just isn’t what it could be! Don’t be afraid to describe in depth of what you see. Your readers don’t know your world. If you want to show them exactly what you are creating, you need to be specific!
