Here's Nikos di Androsi, my blind psychic necromancer-vampire (clan Giovanni to those of you familiar with Vampire: The Masquerade).

This was made over a period of about 5 hours over 2 days (with some adjustments/clean-up in Photoshop) whilst waiting in an emergency room waiting area. A friend of mine had a terrible accident and burned herself pretty bad days before Christmas while making homemade candles--basically the wax burned and then exploded on her face, hands, arms, and legs. I stayed with her and drove her back and forth to the emergency room for 4 days in a row while they cleaned and redressed her wounds. Somewhere in the third day, I got the brilliant idea to take my sketchbook. I sat on the waiting room floor and sketched this on day three, then on day four inked it...with a .8 Micron Pen. THE WHOLE THING. I think I scared the other patients. XD

...she's doing a lot better now, by the way. ^_^

Whoa... just... whoa. This is breath-taking! It looks "professional", as if it could be on a movie poster or something of the sort. I love everything about him! Espically his glasses, eyes, pose, necklace... *drools* everything. I think I like this so much because it really reminds me of the "The Professional" movie posters, which I'm a huge fan of. Rockin' pic!

The Giovanni clan rules! I wanted to be one but they would not let me because I hadn't played the Mascerade before *sobs* I want his red sun glasses! ^-^

Scared the other patients, huh? That sounds like what happened to my best friend...she was backstage at play rehearsal drawing a picture of one of my characters...collapsed against the wall in sheer horror with three bullet holes in his torso...and people kept looking over her shoulder. Good thing she didn't have her red colored pencil with her at the time. ^^

Anyway, I really like this. The dramatic effect is excellent, especially the way his glasses stand out. I think that's what caught my attention. It is indeed very professional, but I agree with one of the above commenters--you could edit it a little so that the streaks don't show up so much. It's mostly in the left side of his hair; I don't really see any streaks anywhere else. There's something a bit odd about his hand, as well; it could just be the fact that there is so little definition on his ring and pinkie fingers. Otherwise, excellent job! I'm hardly brave enough to use ink myself, so ink works always astound me. Keep it up!
