That's a big freakin bee! That is, assuming that the mark on the water under his is his stinger in/above the water as he flies. Who's got the swatter!? LOL. Nice pic tho, I esp like the "poppy"-houses. Neat idea. But how do the people travel?

While this is a -gorgeous- image, and the insect's body definitely bears the markings of a wasp, the head is more bee-like than waspish. On a wasp, the eyes are larger, as well as the mandibles. The antennae, I think, are also a bit more angular.
