Here`s a model of Gollum, I`ve made it, as an aid, to portraying the right light and shade..

That's not exactly how i pictured him, but its still a pretty good sculpture, i'm workin on one of gollum too just for fun.. I always thought of gollum as having fangs.. But it said in the books that he used to be something like a hobbit.. So i didnt think of him as having pointy ears but yanno still pretty good

You know they say an artist who loves his work is the greatest of them all. (personally I don't know who THEY all are but they're smart people) You seem to really enjoy your work. Gollum is by far my favourite. This really brings him to life.

Gah!!! Hear ye, hear ye, I am the voice of reason and such. The fact that this may or may not look like *your* idea of Gollum isn't really a necessary comment. The fact is, this is an excellent sculpture, no matter what, and a ton of work, I'm sure! It is bound to look like some people's idea of Gollum and not like others...so please, folks, take it for what it is??? *packs up soapbox and scampers off*

Um... Not gollum. No not gollum. Maybe an alien but not gollum.

Very nice sculpture. You are truly and artist. But...Gollum is supposed to look dark, demented and creepy. This is kindof a childish version of Gollum, I think. But good job, anyway.

The only reason i don't think it looks like gollum is because gollum is tricky, smart and evil. This pic doesn't look too tricky smart or evil. It looks really cute and care-free, too nice to be gollum. Yet, it's a great piece and very original.

I must confess I'm not too fond of your interpretation of gollum. He seems too far removed from the hobbit-like creature he one was.

Those who can, do, those who can't, criticise those who can.

well, majik - i think Tolkien would be very proud to see such a wonderfully imaginative interpretation of Gollum - it is ture that he even encouraged others to continue the legacy of Middle Earth after him - which is why i do fan-fiction stories, to keep the dream alive....

....well done you, Terry!
