Derek is a realworld (tabletop/ccg) game designer from along the lake somewhere in Ohio. He dabbles in art as a hobby among other things such as singing, writing, playing guitar and eating chicken... :)I started drawing more than doodles in 7th grade. It started as profiles of dragons and from looking at other pics and sketching them out i was able to learn different angles, muscle tones, different forms of anatomy, dynamic figure drawing, etc. I've never taken any art classes... Like one pianist may play everything by ear, i've taught myself what i know. I enjoy it, that's what counts. Im often inspired by movies, moreover situations derived from movies. I use it as a way to vent i suppose. Though i dont do it very often i usually end up with one wicked nice pic a month
