Sorry for the huge file- but... man. XD This is cropped down. When I started coloring it the size was 200x200 inches. Not pixels. I cut it in half about half through shading because the computer just couldn't handle it anymore. But yeah, I got most of the steps to completing this one through tutorials and in my scraps. It's 100% digital from sketch to finish, no references used, blah blah blah...my hands hurt.

Anyway, this is perhaps one of the most important scenes in the ParaChiMar story. Koi ruled as the high king for an age, now remembered fondly as the realm's golden age of peace. Chinupheus grew envious of the praise his fellow guardian basked in. The realm's 'ultimate purpose' is balance, so in Chinupheus' mind, an age of peace should fall into an age of chaos. He didn't expect Koi to sacrifice himself in order to bind the both of them in limbo to prevent his return.
