You've got some great character concepts. If you really want to make your pictures soar, I would suggest coloring them (in my opinion, using photoshop). At the least, you should ink them and give them a background. They do wonders for your pictures!

Johan, your pencil work here has a nice fantasy / medieval feel here. Keep up the good work! Your character designs are excellent and would look even better if some of them didn't have that "cut off at the feet" look. Keep pushing that pencil! Later!

You got some nice characters here but they all seem to be from around 2002, how about an update with some newer stuff?

1 Johan Thärnström replies: "Exactly what I have been thinking of doing for a very long time, but I hasn't yet happened. I have a few drawings, but I have to scan them first. So soon there will be some new stuff posted. Thanks for the reminder though. "

Hey Johan, I saw your comment on one of my drawings “under fire”. Thanks for the kind words. I just went through your gallery and like the post above mine, you have some great characters. I think “highlander” is one of my favorites and “Tao Shirakaw” is well drawn. Let me know when you update with some newer stuff, I would like to see what you can do now.
