"The Chamberlain" by Harry Morris

Another scrapped book character. The Chamberlain was to be the immortal servant of the Master, who created the world in which the story took place. He has many talents, including traditional magic, diplomacy and record-keeping. When I first drew this picture, it looked rather different, but since the first timee I "finished" it, it has received numerous small modifications (a new hand here, a pose correction there) and now is infinitely better. I am very hapy with his face (excluding the nose) as I think it has a certain ageless quality I intended for the character. I'm also very proud of myself for drawing (kind of) a background. On the other side of the coin- his pose is horrid, and the perspective is awful. Win some, lose some I guess.
