A young and energetic witch who means business. I didn't have anything particular in mind when I started drawing her, I just wanted to make use of the traditional trappings of a witch, hence the broomstick, pointy hat and pentacle necklace (although I didn't dare attempt the black cat). It's at times like this I wish I could shade better, or use colour, as I'm sure either of these would greatly improve the drawing. Well, I shall resolve to learn at least to shade better (then maybe I'll try my hand at colour).

I like your sharing in this actually. It could use a bit more but it’s a very good sketch. I love how the hat covers her face. Overall I think it’s very good positioning and when you plan out where you want the person and what they are doing it adds a lot to your picture.
