Like all of the Gods and Godesses, Athena still lives.  However, now longer worshipped and glorified, she is left to roam the remains of the temples once erected in her honour.  Still clutching the olive branch she gifted to the Athenians all those years before, she is lonely and confused... lost in the ruins...

- btw, that one hair, across her eye, makes het an awful lot sexier!

:-) Richard Zachmann replies: "Thank you!! Yes, always loved ancient Greece and Rome. And this whole series leaves no blank paper... every square millimeter has graphite or charcoal on it!!
As for the sexy hair hanging down... I have been around a long time, Dear... LOVE how that looks!! Thanks again!!"

Great work on the artifacts in this piece. They are actually drawing my eyes away from the goddess, which, I believe, was the whole point. Well done. Great work, and thanks for sharing with us.
