	Part of the Elves herd got stranded , a dam and her foal,,, they are having to wait out a bad storm on the plains, before they can return home,, part of my Elf horse serious Im working on,,all digitally drawn, no reference used

18 Jun 2010	Half Unicorn	Loading... Not to be mean but a female horse is not called a dam its called a mare. I know this because i have a mare of my own. But other than that I LOVE THIS PICTURE! Theresa Sturgeon replies: "actually you are wrong,, I have been in horses my entire life, including breeding , raising a training,, if you look on any registration pappers for any breed you will note that it says " Sire" for the stallions side,, and "dam" for the mares side,,mare in horse terms is the same as saying girl in ours,, and dam is mom in our terms,, and sire is dad,,,, I appreicate your note of details, but they are not wrong,,, thanks"
