The Mythical Window

It is a doorway to the radiant light,

It is a glimpse of the deepest night,

It is a glimmer of hope,

It is a slippery slope,

It is a barred cage,

To keep hold of the rage,

It is a gateway to things unseen,

It is a hole,

In a persons soul,

Does it bring safety?

Does it bring fear?

When the monster is always near,

Do you look out?

What will you see?

If you dare to go there.

Go slowly…go cautiously…

Go in the night, to hide from the light,

So if you venture out,

Go quietly…go softly…

Trust no one,

You will just get hurt.

Lupus: My only question is this: Is the Mythical Window truly a window? Or is it a mirror? Lupus, what have I told you about leaving random cryptic comments on people’s galleries? Bad girl!
*ahem* Normally, I really don’t like poetry, but I do like this. You don’t give yourself nearly enough credit. This is my favorite piece by you... So far.
