Ah, F. Scott Fitzgerald. Green lights and posters with big eyes on them, such imagery. Plus it's the only thing I read in school that hinted at the control eugenics had before world war II. But I digress. Fitzgerald, both F. Scott and Edmund are all right in my book. Hanna James replies: "I hated Gatsby. But then again, I tend to hate all male leads who fall in love with a stupid girl who has a pretty face and then whine when they suffer because of it. I especially hate them when they get the girl and are all happily-ever-after because of it. How stupid is that? Well, Gatsby didn't get the girl but he was still intensely, annoyingly lovesick and stalkerish."
In responce to your non related responce: there is a flaw in your little plan. If you eat copious ammounts of sugar and avoid all excercise to avoid sweating, you will actually become fat and fat people have a nasty habit of sweating, alot.
American Liturature. For every Adventures of Tom Sawer there's a Little House on the Prarie, for every Emily Dickenson there's a Walt Whitman, and for every In Cold Blood there's a... I don't know, some book by Faulkner (I don't like him).
At least with foreign novels the borring ones die out. Hanna James replies: "Every tale has been told, there are just new ways to tell it, and all that. Blech."
I failed my driver's test today. Also, you missed my birthday. Let the positivity flow. Hanna James replies: "Sorry. Uh, happy belated birthday! Whoo! You should know that I forget my own family's birthdays, except that I'm reminded of them. And I put them on my cell phone calendar, though that only works if I remember to recharge my cell phone once it dies, because I never use the damn thing. Well, rarely use it. Use it only to make plans with people. Okay, so I use it semi-regularly but that's not the point. The point is that I'm forgetful and I'm sorry.I'd give you a bunch of freshly-backed cookies if you weren't so damn far away."

Hello! Long time no...ah, me come by/do anything on elfwood. Ooops.
I see the dreaded words "The Great Gatsby" up there. I hated it. We read it this year, and I think my teacher loved it, which made it all even worse. I mean, WHAT was the point to that book? Endless droning on and on about really not much at all. No emotion, nothing. Urgh.
So, hows life? The universe and everything too, while you're at it. Hanna James replies: "As far as the universe goes, in this particular galaxy there are three "new" planets. As far as life goes, it goes on.As far as my writing goes, I'm in a soon-to-be ending (hopefully) slump. Well, kind of a bit of a life slump, really. I've got a bit of insomnia and I'm not looking forward to school starting up again. Though at the same time, I can't wait.I dyed my hair back to dark brown. Not quite my natural color, but closer. And sexy. I like it quite a lot. The only thing I'll never be is a blond - pale skin, pale eyes, pale hair? Yuck."
...Hanna? Do you still exist? I've come to collect a blood debt you owe. In K's blood. Forfeit and risk irritating torment of fox spirits for the rest of your miserable days. Come to Muffin's page when your sword is sharp and your mind clear. Hanna James replies: "Since it's taken so long for me to reply to this, does that mean I've forfitted my blood? That's not good."
Just left a comment on Broken Wings and wanted to inquire as to the preferences you have on what receives the most comments?
*grins as she realizes that totally didn't make any sense*
*sneakily replaces the shoe that the Meercat stole from her closet* Hanna James replies: "Hello! Nice to see someone new. No, I don't really have any preferences, though it's probably best to stick to reading the shorts stories if you ever want to see something with an actual ending."
Erm, yes, I suppose it does mean that... ehh, just sprinkle salt around your house, that should help. I mean, I've no real desire to haunt you with foxes or Japanese guys with funny hats...
