| Poem about the dragon that unleashes storms of which nature itself is jealous about.. |
|
Storm Dragon.
Clouds rolled through the skies,
Dark waves driving away the light.
Lightning alerted the night,
Waking up those that rested with their lies.
The ignorant scrambled for cover,
Rain and wind decided to join the game.
While the elements embraced each other,
Thunder lived up to his name.
Homes were reduced to rubble,
Mortals did not know what had begun.
Dreams popped like bubbles,
Despair and fear chased away joy and fun.
Raw power shook the ground,
Structures of man and nature alike were made undone.
Some prayed for mercy from what had been found,
They were ignored because the Storm Dragon had come..
