The crappy name is true. I was bored in biology (REAL bored) so I started puting scales into my sketch on graph paper. I attempted to get rid of it, but I couldn't do it without messing up the sketch. Pencil on graph paper, later edited in photoshop.

yes, many good things come from boredom. Take my word for it. A lot of great sketches, stories, and ideas have come to me from being bored, ESPECIALLY in school. I really need to join this site. You know, I think that the graph paper affect looks really cool. For some strange reason it does. Maybe it's because it blends with scales a bit I don't it's a weird gut feeling *shrugs* Maybe I'm just weird

The only place i can see the graph is on the wings. I'm taking Biology this year, and I just hope that if it is boring that the teacher is nonobservant and doesn't see me drawing. (i don't know who the teacher is going to be, the other one left to go to medical school)

I love the way you can take a sketch and turn it into art on the computer! I should try that with some of my sketches!
