This is another pic I did with gum wrappers. And let me tell you one thing, I thought it was hard using gum wrappers on the first on (Wrigley's Silver) but it is FAR harder to use gum wrappers when something contains so many freakin' CURVES!! But, it was well worth it. My aunt (the person I gave it to for Christmas) appreciated it well, so I'm happy. >.<

The reason I did the fairy the way I did her, was because I wanted to do something pretty. Only she ended up kind of sad and depressing; almost wishful in a way. I really liked the way her face came out most of all. The way that her eyes are closed and how she doesn't have a mouth brings out the emotions of the pic. There's no story behind it, but I bet there could be ^_~

lol, gum wrappers... that's so cool.. i would have never thought to make a pic out of them but hey whatever works... covering my spirals in gum wrappers is my favorite Spanish Class past-time.. i just found it kind of amusing that someone would make an artwork with the same technique.. i love it.. congrats on mod's choice

You get bonus points for creative use of Stuff We Keep Crumpled in Our Pockets. Cool concept, and great execution. Next step is Art Nouveau, yes? ^_~

I love how in your other gum wrapper picture you said you would never do it again. That made me laugh, especially since this picture rocks! (and I wish you could have her me typing that. It was very punctuated.) (Like seriously. R.O.C.K.S.)

...that doesn't stand for anything, by the way....it's just pausing for emphasis. ...erm...did I dig myself a hole? ...

Very impressive. I never would have though gum wrappers could be such an effective medium. I like the flat graphic quality of the design. very very nice.

Wow! Gum wrappers!! thats amazing especially to me who can't peel a gum wrapper to save her life. though i'm pretty good with andea's(sp?) mint wrappers cause you can do the same thing with those. Great job on mod's choice and keep up the wonderful work!!!

I love both this pic and the dragon you did. I would have never thought of using gum wrappers. That was a very creative idea.

Remind next time I chew gum to give you the wrapper, cause I'm hoping you do more great pics like this one!
