I think you’re good at making the pictures coming alive - give it some emotion! That’s why I think my favorites are ’Kharva’ and ’Shadowfax’ but there are also lots of other great pictures. I also really like you shading and you do the muscles very well. Anyway, keep up the good work!
*Febridë* A. Thomason replies: "Thank you very much! One thing I have always liked to do is to put emotion into the art; I think it has to do a lot with the eyes and a lot to do with subtle differences in pose. Anyways, I love drawing them, and I guess that helps me add ’more’ to them. I appreciate the comment, thank you so much for visiting! "
| 29 Sep 2008 | Kirsty North | wowee thanks for commenting my drawings! XD i absolutely LOVE yur artwork - yu really know how to capture the equine form and make yur drawings seem full of life and movement

| 16 Oct 2008 | John R Farley Jr | Hi. I just got back from New York. You have to hear a New York horse wrangler talk about horses. It’s subtle, but it comes out sounding like "hois." pronounced as in the name, Lois Or "hoises." "We got Arabian hoises, an’ we got paint hoises."
He he, I also got nosed by a horse. My brother takes my niece to a riding stable. Anyway, one rider came up on her horse and tried to reach for her water bottle. I reached in and tried to help. Her horse put his big nose on my arm. He didn’t bite or snap, he just put his big nose on my arm and I felt this big blast of almost hot air. Ha ha. A. Thomason replies: "Lol, that sounds like it was a lot of fun ^^ So you got to see some ’hoises’ while you were up there
Our horses do that, too, except that they’re just doing it because they want food. They stick their big nose on you and whuff. It is hot-ish air, feels funny Especially with their whiskers, too ^^"
| 23 Oct 2008 | Mary Linxey cat Blanco | Heyas~! Could you mabey do some Gift art for me? A. Thomason replies: "Wellll I take requests As long as it’s not too complicated ^^" | |
| 28 Oct 2008 | Vineet Aggarwal | Hey there, today is the biggest Hindu festival celebrated here in India called Diwali.. This day Lord Rama returned with his wife Sita after rescuing her from the demon Ravan.. so just wanted to wish u a very HAPPY DIWALI May the blessings of the Lord be with u!!Vinnie | |
| 2 Nov 2008 | John R Farley Jr | We saw a lot of horses, especially a tan-colored one and beautiful black one.
Okay, so the horse wanted food. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt so I didn’t feel the whiskers, just the blast of hot air. I love it when dogs do that, they press their noses hard on your leg or knee and snort and shnuffle.
Whuff is a cool word! A. Thomason replies: "I love black horses... they’re the most fun to draw, too =P You can make them with blue, or purple, or red, or other color tones. Fun.
Yeah, our dogs do that sometimes... especially when we’ve been around other animals. The horses do that sometimes, too, to see who you are and what you’re doing - but in our horses case, I think they are just pigs in horses’ clothing. They always want food XD
Whuff is a fun word ^^ I don’t know if it’s a real word... but that’s what the noise sounds like!"
| 7 Nov 2008 | Mary Linxey cat Blanco | Sorry I was so long getting back to you... Well, I have a Dun Arabian stallion, and his name is Lucky man. We rescued him from these guys who were getting drunk and trying to see who could stay on his back longest. T,T; So yeah, I just wanted some one to please to a background sized piccie of him, with Pegasus wings and a little Halo, so when he dies I can have a nice back ground every morning to remember him by. He is doing very nicely, btw, and is quite healthy and young, I just want something to remember him when he is gone. ^,^ A. Thomason replies: "Well, if you send me a photo I can see what I can do ^^ You can send it to Storybookcavies@aol.com " | |
| 16 Nov 2008 | Mary Linxey cat Blanco | Well... I don’t have a photo, because when we went to visit him in Cali(we’re in LA) My camera broke along the way and we didn’t get an up-to-date piccy. ^-^’’ Have you done a search on "Dun/Buckskin Arabian"? basically thats what he looks like.. sorry! but here is one I found, its a Mare, but the colors are the same except the muzzle which is black.(the Adult mare~!) http://www.pescatorehorses.com/Lucky%20and%20Honey.JPG and http://www.chickensmoothie.com/image.php?id=64&bg=F0E9D2 Thanks so much!!!! *ghlomp* | |
