A slim little fellow showing off his colors :) A quick piece, but I actually kinda really like the way it turned out. The legs are a tad off, but I love his tail. Oh, and the water isn't... quite... water-like. Ah well.

Prismacolor pencils for the coloring, white acrylic paint for the bubbles

*first comment dance!* I love him! And I think the legs look just fine. 1 Love those colors, too. And the way you have the water makes it look choppy...like maybe a storm is brewing overhead.

I love this idea! I love taking words in the English language litterally. I once toyed with this idea for a school project, but ended up doing a palm tree instead (like palm of the hand tree). Isn’t this creature technically called Hippocampus? Or am I tired? Oh well. Great pic.
