SciFi & Fantasy Artwork by JoJo Thomason

JoJo Needs a lot of CC so please feel welcome to her gallery. Whether you're a professional or a beginner I love comments and will reply to you if you comment here. I will also comment on your page (especially if you draw horse-creatures). I am an active comment-answerer but a little tired of looking around for new art so if you want me to look at yours then comment here and I'll go have a look.

Hey!!!! Sorry I haven’t been on in awile. My parents made me delete my other account ’cause my grades weren’t so hot... But I’m back now and will have some drawings us ASAP.

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "All right! I’ll take a look when you do."

Stamps hoof! *whinnies* Very nice gallery Joanna1 I would venture a guess that you possibly-just possibly-might like horses.18 You are a very skilled artist-especially for your age. And I bet you would do well drawing other animals too. That would be my tip, as an old dragon, to branch out and do some other subjects. An amazing amount of quadruped animals have very horse-like anatomy, with differences in leg length, hooves etc. Like deer, antelope, even big horn sheep. You might start with critters like that(which would make some pretty cool unicorns too)1

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "Thanks for the advice! I have more non-fantasy critters on my dA site, but lately I’ve not been drawing much (SCHOOL...). However, I am working on a pic without anything horsely whatsoever! 1 Wish me luck 12"

Hello, and welcome back to the ’Woods. Haven’t seen you around in awhile.

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "I know, I’ve kinda been busy. Hopefully I will have something new to put up soon. And... heh, maybe I should get rid of a few of these... 2 "

Peace be with you, J. I recalled I said I would draw a unicorn if you draw something like a centaur or maybe pegacorn... I like your pegasus and all the rest. I found a picture of a unicorn I did when I was nine or ten years old: http://dmelik.elfwood.com/Unicorn_%281987%29.3538690.html . Of course all your stuff is better; do you have any scans of stuff from when you were about that age?

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "I think when I was nine and ten I didn’t draw much. When I was younger I did but just then I was suddenly fed up with it haha. I do, however, have some pretty old stuff on my dA account 2

And I do think I remember that trade... Wasn’t my part supposed to be a unicorn walking in the forest?"

Also I recall I have a unicorn in this piece: http://dmelik.elfwood.com/Elves,_Dragon,_Unicorn,_in_A_Cave.2- - - 684617.html . However the back legs are behind an elf. The idea was partly that those animals have to do with the elves, but I do not recall how careful I was in hiding the unicorn’s back legs or just making it look surreal instead as if they were the same being.... So you have a dA account now? So do I, but only one thing sort of new there (Sylvan Pool picture scanned rather than photo.)

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "Cool! I’ll take a look at your dA page 1
"

Actually what I had requested is you draw a centaur or maybe pegacorn, since you have drawn neither... though as for a pegacorn you have drawn its halves. Since I have not drawn a new unicorn I will not ask you to do that yet....

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "Oh my! That was a while ago! I can’t believe I forgot :/ I’m really sorry.
If you like, perhaps we can start the trade over. I am most at home with graphites and oil pastels, but I also like trying out new methods... "

Your art reminds me of my own art when I was as young as you. Keep up the good work!

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "Cool 2 I am trying to keep up with art and school. It’s tough but I’ve managed to combined them quite well. "

In reply to your reply to mine on 31st of January... well, I am still willing to draw a better unicorn and pegacorn and would be interested in seeing a centaur or pegacorn from you. I am a senior in university, but I might only be taking one class next term, so I should have the time if I do not space out reading too much, which I often do though.... I should add you on dA; I joined there recently.

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "Well I will try to have one drawn 2
Oh, and I am normally pretty active on dA but I got a virus from that site twice, so I am trying to stick to elfwood instead. "

Hello Jo Jo. Looks like we’re one of three active member left in ol’ gallery 716.

My 11 year old niece in New York has been taking riding lessons. She loves it, and is quite good at it. But it’s funny to hear the teachers say the terminology about equines with a New York accent. 18 Horses comes out, "hwoses."

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "interesting. I haven’t exactly been "active" on here much, but I will try to get some of my new pieces to qualify as fantasy so they can be uploaded 2

That’s amazing haha 1"

Hi Jo Jo, just wanted to say: your horses are awsome, I just love them all. Been drawing many of them myself years ago and never achoeved to really catch their beauty - but you certainly do.

:-) JoJo Thomason replies: "I am honored by your wonderful comment 2"
