Sage again, though this time she is a lot older. This is life from her point of view - a mix of heat - sensor and echo location... or close to that. She can hear you...

yeah she's kind of not proportionate...

by the way, she is a unicorn but was born blind and without an alicorn because humans were polluting everything...

The shading is beautiful. I really love how you have kept it rougher in some areas.

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Thank you! Gladja like it!!!"

Beatuiful shading, you sure know your horses! I think the water could be perfected even further though. Keep up the great work!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "thank you... yes, i agree...lt definately needs some work!"

:-) J. Thomason replies: "thanks! yeah, the eye isn’t right and the jaw isn’t aligned."

Would you be willing to give me some tips on how to draw the eyes. I can draw the basic shape, but can’t seem to get the shading correct. Thank you!!!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "i’m not that great at drawing eyes myself :/
however, if you get a chance t visit my sister’s gallery she will probably gladly give you some tips. she is wayyy into drawing horse eyes. "

I love how you can see the veins on the head, it adds a nice touch of realism.

Once, I was a so-called horse lover (don’t think the yucky way. thank you.) And I love drawing .. uhm.. for a long time. Sooo.. I drawed & watched horses a lot 1

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Well, that’s great.
Are you saying you no longer love horseys? They’re kind of simpletons, I personally think. But they are the prettiest things to draw 1"

That’s a very beautiful sketching work no doubt, but the most fascinating thing (on my behalf) is the mountain of emotions that are coming strait out of this piece, truly a wonderful job!
