Lost, alone, I search for you...

Where did you go? why is it so hard to find you? there is no more light here... only pools of darkness blotting out even my memories.

LOL that's a weird description. Once I write a description I generally butcher the mood by pointing out everything I did wrong: the darkness is scratchy!!! *attacks paper* the unicorn is too light... it's head is weird... it's so.... MHGRFFLGHR!!! lol...

That's an unusual perspective. I love it, it's very emotional.

I like the 'scratchy darkness'. It's moodier than a flat darkness would have been.

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Really? *and here I was getting all fed up with it!*"

HI!!! I love this one!
Where can i find the contest part on DA!? do you know?

I was horse riding again today....god i get the sniffels!! It is quite madening...oh yeah i have been meaning to ask! As i come from england i say "horse riding" or "riding". But there are some others in my class who are only familiar
with the american way.( One of them lived there for 1/2 a year, the others had american caretakers..)
And they all say it is called "horse BACK riding". so i wanted to ask if you say it like that aswell!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Contest? I don’t think this was for a contest...
Um, "horse riding" "riding", "horse back riding"... I dunno. I am not a real professional in that area, lol! TY for your comment, sorry I can’t answer!"

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Thanks! I can’t wait to see your art! (you draw horses right?) I like horse artses!"

How did I manage to miss this? Or did I maybe comment on it before?????? *sigh* This whole new comment thingy is really aggrivating. But I do love this one. The whole perspective thing and the angles.....it’s really good!

:-) J. Thomason replies: "Thanks!!! 1
On dA I have a lot of new stuff... And I dare say I’ve improved a bit since this. Maybe. But anyway I haven’t see ya around for a while ..?

2 I’m sorry...I’ve been really busy the past couple of weeks. I haven’t even had a chance to log on here and reply to comments made on my page. Plus, we just got moved into a new house, and I’m still unpacking. I haven’t even had time to log into my dA account. I’ll definitely try to get caught up. Plus, I still have that art trade to do. I’ve got ideas, but putting them on paper and finding time are two different things. Perhaps, though, since I now have my own art room away from the house, I’ll be able to create more stuff.

:-) J. Thomason replies: "aww! it’s fine! I haven’t been on here for MONTHS!!! gee I’m lazy. And I have no excuse >.<"

This thumbnail caught my eye. Very interesting.

Did you ever think of venturing into the black ink (India ink) realm? This could become really dynamic. Even with some of your other pencil pieces. Pencil tends to become labored with all of the choppy lines, and there is only so much smearing and darkness you can attain with pencils...

Anyway, I hope it finds what it’s looking for. 1

:-) J. Thomason replies: "haha, thank you. I should try that... lately I’ve been trying out different mediums"
