You took the human condition and related it to loving something you could never own. An analogy could be a wild horse, one's art. Tamed it wouldn't be worth loving because you do not tame a friend, you do not slave one.

However, the story frame is being changed, it will be told in first person, still, but from a 15 year old Brittany, not a 28 year old Brittany. I will post my new beginning when I get it going.
