A friend of mine asked me to draw her different african spirits as she was so very impressed by africa after her journey.
For this first one - wind - she suggested to use the lion, mainly because of his mane but also because she thought the wind has something majestic, just like the animals king.

I'm in the staetes at the moment and have no opportunity to load up new pictures. its been a while since my last update, nearly a year, but there are new pictures in the making and they will be uploaded asap.I simply used a HB pencil and a 2H and 2B mechanical pencil for this, as well as an sticky eraser (those kneadable once), thats all. Thanks for coming by! Ciao"

*cowers* It's going to jump off the computer screen and eat me! Oh, wait... it's just a picture. A good one! All kidding aside, it honestly looks like a photograph redrawn... even though I know it's not. I would never malign your skill like that. You have amazing talent, and this picture certainly showcases it!

This is stunning, I live in Africa, and this picture captures the Lions strength as well as his boldness. Lions are also playfull and he has such a cheeky look on his face. Love it!
