But that's all really I think this picture looks good ^_^ Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: " Oh yeah... his hand. Uhhmm, I decided to let it be this way, don't know why.Thank you for all the comments you wrote, they are really helpfull!" | |
| 30 Apr 2003 | Gabe Kai Stevens | Loading...I'll agree with all Wilma has said here... His face does not look like he has just gotten done crying. However, I'm not really sure with the eyes how to make then look that way, my best suggestion would be to watch for it to happen in your favorite cartoons. Hey, excellent job with the cloth, you are really good with wrinkles and shading. Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "yeah... He originally wasn't supposed to cry, though, thats why his face doesn't look like he just cried. Don't know why I draw this tears... Just was in the mood for it I guess ;-)" | |
| 1 May 2003 | Maija Viertola | Loading...I thought the tears were make-up or some kind of jewelry or something, mostly because his expression doesn't look like one of grief, he looks more curious or something. Good job with the hair and the folds of the clothes. This guy here has the most character of all your drawings of human-type-creatures, I think. It's obvious that your specialty is horses, the unicorn really stands out in this gallery, but I think Khadran stands out from the rest of the "humans", as I said. Keep drawing! Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Thank you. And be sure I'll keep on drawing. I'm not satiesfied with my human-kind pieces as well. There's a lot I have to learn about anatomy and such things. But I'm sure I will become better! -cause I have to... ;-)-" | |
| 3 May 2003 | Laura Laurain | Loading...Aw, he's cute! Nice, simple clothes design. Makes him mysterious, oooo Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "yeah, mysterious Khadran... had some problems with the folds at first so I'm glad you like it! ;-)" | |
| 5 May 2003 | Judith 'Judge' Mayr | Loading...That's a great pic. I like your idea for his clothes. Just like the others have mentioned already, he doesn't look very sad. But there's a very simple trick to improve this. It's his eyebrows. Take a look in the mirror and then try to look sad. You'll see, that you'll lift the part of your eyebrows that lie nearest to your nose, while you lower the part at the outer sides. Somehow like this: /\ Just try it. Ah, well, didn't want to sound like a teacher. Anyway, it's a great pic. Keep it up ^^ Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Hey! I asked for constructive critisism! Your tip is quite usefull. Thank you ;-)" | |
