I really seem to be frightened to use colour...!
This is a young Elf with her befriended unicorn, resting after a ride and enyoing the view.
I don't really like the elf and her hand doesn't seem to belong to her... But I do like the unicorn, thats why I put this here ;-)

OEW updated!!
hey guess what we're on the same tour whaha *COOL*
anyway very nice pic
I really like the horse-head (is that a word?)
buuuuuuuut I'm gonna ad a but again
I know I'm terible *starts sniffing*
I'm such a critical person 16
anyway, the hand seems a bit to small the head could also be a little bigger but this of course depends on the person
*hope you're not getting sick of me 16*

:-) Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Hey! You should have realized by now that I very much like your comments as you don't just say: "good one" but always add some helpful critics. Thank you for that. I'd want you to come back after every update, know that? ;-) "

Not trying to be a pest, but with the unicorn eye...i think i'd look better closer to the ear. To me it looks like the eye is on the jaw. 8D . And the elf hand is a bit small. 8/ . The arm also seems to come out of the back. That'd hurt. 8O . Anyways, over then my helpful notes great picture. 8D

1 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "  I like your helpfull notes. I already know about the arm. I'm not sure about the eye... i kkinda liked it"

Ooer. . .An Arabian unicorn? Gorgeous! Absolutely wonderful! As for the elf, she is beautiful as well. I am pretty sure that the problem you are having with the hand is that in such an instance, the shoulder would be raised and not rounded down. Instead of being angled back toward her head, I think the hand should be angled straight down toward the bottom of the page. Now, someone correct me on this last part if I am wrong, but I think if the shoulders were rotated so that she was standing more sideways, it might help a ton. Just my opinion once again. Keep up the outstanding work!

11 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Thank you! that really IS helpful. your right about the shoulders, i guess."

7 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "yeah, i told you its not my fav. I liked the unicorn, though."

Hmm the arabian unicorn is good, his head is simply tilted, thats why that person thought the eye was placed wrong. But i have to say, ugh on the elf. Her face looks good, and her head looks good, but you got em both goin different angles. She looks like one of those fish that have eyes on one side of their head. Her face looks more of a 3/4 angle, and then her head just looks straight sideways. Fix that and it would be perfect. Oh yeah, and the arm and hand, too.

1 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: ""urg" is a very fiiting comment on this elf, i guess. yeah, i knoe there are LOT of mistakes with her. maybe ill find some time to change it"

You have an incredible talent with drawing animals, both your horses (ahem, unicorns) and your lion-man. If I were you, i'd concentrate with that direction because your talent is awesome.

12 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "he he! thank you so much. I recently started drawing portraits. I dont have to imagine how the face should look like and that makes things a lot easier. concerning animals: I like to draw them. a lot more then humans, very happy you like 'em!"

I don't think the face is too dished! There's an Arab at the stable where I work and his head looks just like that! The elf's head looks good too, it's just her hand that needs fixing.
