Oooh! Look at the pretty face and hair! The tail looks a little stiff, but those scales look like it'd take forever Xx

:-) Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Forever? yeah, kinda. I think the stiffness is result of the "funny" pose I put it in... next time I'll pay more attantion on it ("theres always space for improvement" Gustave Flaubert)thankies! "

2 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "the face? In look in a mirror and then change the different things (nose, mouth) to what i imagine. It doesnt work always, though. I had luck this time"

sigh........ I wish I could draw that good I wish you would reveil the secret of how to draw the face and the tail fins!!!

7 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "the face: take a look at the comment above. the fins: I first shade the whole tail, then I criss cross it slightly to give the impression of a lot of single fins and finally I draw small "u" over it all ( like uuuuuu) in small rows. but all very slightly. just try it!"

That is a huge mouth. It is possible to have a mouth that large (Julia Roberts), was that intentional?

1 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "  she was supposed to have a very big smile. it got a little to large, though. but as you said: julia roberts smiles like this, too ^_^"

The mouth is kind of big. But the rest is very well drawn. Great hair. And the body and tail are great.

18 Maren I. *May* Zielke replies: "Thank you! the mouth: take a look at the comment above. its kinda big, yeah. but who says all sirenes have to have "normal" smiles? *lol*"
