For those of you who didn't realize it: this is a black unicorn ;-).
I made it about the same time I made the Pegasus and I overcame my fear of colours by now, I think (yes, it's made with pencil and coloured pencils, even though it might look like it's just normal pencil!).

I imagine a black unicorn has to be more strengthful than a white one.
That's why I made him stronger build. He also hasn't a normal horn and eyes.
About the long leg: It took me ages to make up this leg! I know it looks a bit wierd but believe me: it's totally right the way it is.
I looked at horses and asked a lot of people to make sure I Draw it just right. I couldn't believe it as it seems to be wrong.
BUT IT IS RIGHT! Definetly. Isn't it? Oh boy...

i really like his horn!!!! The pose is interesting too, but i don't think he could truly keep his balance that way. Correct me if i'm wrong. 2 His rump looks like it slants down just a BIT too much, i'm not sure. i'm still working on my horse anatomy myself. When I get my pictures up (it should be soon I just have to wait for acception) could you take a look at them and leave me some criticism? I'd really be grateful. Anyway, great drawing!

The anatomy for the body is awesome but the head is to big and blocky otherwise it was perfect.

Now being the embodiment of pure strength in itself, I can see that this Unicorn is strong too. You were right about the black unicorns being stronger than the white ones, but the white ones are a lot smarter. Personally, although they aren't quite as cool, I would go with a brown unicorn. The brown ones are well-rounded in both strength and tact so they make the preferable mount. Neither the brown or the black unicorns can get wings though. Only the white ones can. That's why you only see white pegasus's with horns.

I can feel the muscles under my leg,
I can hear the sound of hooves pounding the earth,
I can smell the dust and the sweat,
I can see the horizon streaching before me, the suns blinds me......*slap* okay nat, wake up now!...wow, i want to go riding again!

I have to say that the horn is amazingly done...great job! The body position is great too, it's almost as if you caught the image while moving, just before the fore leg extends...I have seen lipazans (sp??) doing similar moves! The only little bit of (hopefully) constructive criticism I have is, not the head, but a slightly longer, and more stretched forward neck, as if he's leaning into the momentum of movement. Overall, your work is amazing though, hope it helps!

Omg I love it. O__O Just took the first look on it and I fell in love immediately. It’s just amazing! although the tail is a bit too low, it’s really really good. 5 makes me fall in to my world again. 2)

The head is a little odd, and he looks like he’s gonna fell of the picture, but otherwise i like it, body is nice, hair is nice aswell, details are almost perfect.....
