Goodness this is a beautigful sword . . . but one thing and don't hate me for saying this but I collect swords and I noticed that the tapering in the middel of the blade is a hair thin. Just a tad. If it where used in combat I think it could shatter on impact. But that looks like an elfish spell or incantation on the blade sooo . . . I doubt it would even det dented or scared.
With that said . . .
Beautiful piece, simply georgious! AHH! I WANT ONE!

Oh WOW Tim. This is your best sword ever. Now you have to learn to make a real one or send the design to a modern swordmaker. This is soooo good.
What did you think of the film 'Fellowship of the Ring' Elven Japanese sword-polearms???

Brilliant design...

Breathtaking. *smiles warmly*

question: do you have a formula to find your proportions? something to keep everything looking balanced?

...Wow...I love the green gems in the handle (or, I suppose it's called a hilt). The red background makes both a wonderful match to the red inscriptions on the blade and a perfect contrast to the gems in the hilt. Your art is all amazing!

Hmm. Tim . . . I don't like this one! v_v What's up with that? heehee. I think it's just my personal preference for sleek lines (favorite car: 1991 Corvette). This, obviously, is more ripple-y (is "ripply" a word?) than that. I just kinda wanna break off all the extraneous pieces - and I don't like the green. Bleh.

*offers a cookie* Don't let me bring you down, if I am. ^_^ As a piece of art, it is as magnificent as anything else I've run across in your gallery so far. It's not your fault I don't like the subject matter.

As a tiny aside: I DO love that background.

Moving on . . .

This is a very unique piece, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. I think its a gorgeous sword, one that I would most definetly want for myself. I especially like the handle and the green stones set into it. I've noticed that it seems some of of your weapons are based off of my all time favorite movie and book series, The Lord of the Rings. Not meant as a good or bad comment, just an observation.

I really love the hilt, grip and pommel of this.
