These are some props for a project I'm doing. I think the globe stand is about 9 inches high. It's made from a toy ball... some sheet brass and lots of super-glue. The books were painted in photoshop then printed on sticky-back paper and wrapped around some foam core. The axes were cut from a piece of aluminium and ground with a dremel tool.

This is a gorgeous still-life, made even more impressive by the fact that you built it all from scratch. Excellant job.

O_O

"COOL!"

*remembers she's at work*

*claps hands over mouth*

Wow! How fun! I laughed at Anna's comment - I didn't think of that, but she's right . . . that is kind of odd-looking. But . . . but . . . Oh, how I would want to see the rest of the room that these lie in! A library, perhaps? I would never have guessed you created your books in that way (guess that means I have no creative genius, period) but they look like they are asking for someone to pick them up. ^_____^ And I love the stand your globe is in because it's so weird. hehe.

Just one question. How big is everything in relation to each other? Those are tiny axes and giant books . . . is it supposed to be that way?

Okay, two questions. Pardon my liberty. ^_~

Well, I must go. Thank you once again for an entertaining tour into your imagination and hard work!

I really like the globe with its old look and all the knotwork and the books are also very pretty with their 'battered' and used look =) keep it up
