I saw an illistration by an artist on this site called The Bone Tree, I could not help but admire the concept. So I asked the artist if I could write something about it, and he agreed :) I hope I did it justice, but I like this anyway. |

Bone Tree
For a moment it appears
as a figment of the mist.
There is a cracking sound,
a rasping sigh on the wind.
It smells like death.
The trees do not live.
One in particular,
catches the eye.
A tree grown of bones.
Don"t get too close,skeletal hands reach for you.
Bleed. The tree gets cut, and screams.
A dead, yet undead tree of bones.
Yours might just be next.
With a rasping sigh on the wind,
it appears to be a figment of the mist.
A snap....And another addition to the Bone Tree.

Ya definitely did justice! It’s easy to read, gives of a dark feeling, and is all round’ splendid despite it being short. Not to say that a short poem is a bad thing of course
