I was feeling particularly crummy one day. But as it so happens, I sometimes know the best people in the world. If it were not for my friends, I would probably have given up a long time ago. You can't do everything alone. Sometimes its nice to have someone there to keep you going, even when you want to give up...... |

Desperate Need
I needed a hand,
you gave me an arm.
A leg up,
when mine were broken.
When I couldn't go on
You pushed me on.
You would hold me close,
and let me cry,
until I fell asleep.
Believed in me
when no one else would.
Gave me strength
to go a little further.
Were it not for you.
Were it not for all of you.
I would not have come this far.
Together we endured.
Come too far to say good-bye.
We simply parted ways.
When again,
I get the chance.
It will be my turn
to be the help you need of me.
Make the best
of someone else,
like someone did for me.
