Black and grey lines will show through the color instead of covering it.

I attempt at CGing quite a bit, but it doesn't turn out all that well. As for the edges, it creates a kind of "paper cut-out" effect which is quite nice, in my opinion. Nice Work.

I love the positioning of the hair and her arms- it's all wonderful! Unfortunately, the coloring kind of took away from it- It's a shame what happened to the lines. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if you would give me permission to CG it. I've been practicing lately and your original drawing would be a great practice piece for me (i'd e-mail the my finished version back to you and see if you like it )

| 13 Mar 2002 | Jacinta L. Raphael | Loading...what program do you use to cg? Anyway love the hair. I use photoshop to cg and my one comment bout that is mulitply is my friend. Um paintbrush and smudge tool isn't a bad thing to use. I dun think there is a wrong way to do it...then again nobody taught me and I did it on my own. My friend uses airbrush with the burn and dodge tools. I use just airbrush and eraser and the such...I guess whatever works best for you. Whats most important is that you practice I think. Anyway beautiful picture!

| 14 Jun 2002 | Laura 'Lady D' Korhonen | Loading...I like the pose in this one, (although it's perhaps clearer in the non-cg'ed version, me thinks... but still it's rather nice =) and believe me, it's a nice one for the first try, hehe, at least it's far better than my first cg ever was... I like her hair, it came out nicely shiny... And I love the soft way of cg'ing... That is something I still haven't crasped... | |
