Another matte, a day-for-night piece that was born out of a visit to the Buon Consiglio Castle in Trento (northern Italy)
I wanted a chance to combine ancient elements with futuristic ones, in a 'suspended-time' sort of feeling, a waiting moment before something happens. What? This is for the viewer to decide.
I see this piece set in the same parallel universe (or multiverse) where 'Fugue' takes place, more will certainly follow as soon as I have some time for personal projects.

Wow. You’ve created such a tense atmosphere with your use of dim colors, and the curious combination of fantasy/sci fi elements. I find myself wondering what the ripples in the lower right corner are (some sort of portal maybe? Or do the herald the appearance of a magical being?). And, of course, we all are wondering if the cloaked figure is going to get into the craft, or if s/he’s waiting for someone to come out of it.

What an awesome, narrative piece. It has so many potential stories! Congrats; it’s definitely a well deserved mods!

You’ve done really well mixing past and future here. I love the hover car with what looks like a monk next to it.

Nice hover car.

It’s rare to find a picture of another world that seems so believable and ’everyday’. One that you could just -walk into-with your imagination. You did a very nice job with this image in this sense. ~#G

I can’t help wondering what the half-spheres in the left hand corner are or what is dripping out of the castle at the very top near the center, or is it something dripping out?
Everyone says that you are terrific at hair, but when I saw this I saw that you do clouds extraordinarily well. How do you draw clouds like that?
