This was in reply to the fantastic C. A. Drotar who has said 'Anyone who is anyone has a mad hatter in their gallery'....now I am an 'anyone'! Here is my cartoon version of the tea party. Alice is an 'ultra hot' cartoon of myself spiking the tea with a mickey flask...because really if I was at that party that's what I would be doing! I am particularily pleased with the March Hare. His caffine glaze turned out perfect! Based of course on Lewis Carroll's classic story. Done with good old pencil and coloured in photoshop.

Quite interesting. The caffiene glaze is really quite remarkable.Did you know that Lewis Carrol was on opium when he wrote the book?I think that explains alot.

1 Tamara Turner replies: "Sure did! i am lewis's biggest fan!"

Lol! XD! This is great.. I absolutely adore this. ^^ Spiking the tea... Lol, that -so- made my day. And then the glaze of the hare... and the eyes of the Mad Hatter... It has all the perfect elemnts. :: Hands over a cookie. It is spiked, of course. ::

:-) Tamara Turner replies: "Yse!!! a cookie!!!! *munches it down with a cup of spiked tea!* Thanks!"

Hilarious! I so love this. "XXX" on the Alice’s can is the funniest. And who would blame her after all she is going through in Wonderland?

I can't stop giggling. That brown rabbit. The stare - it is like a "deer in headlights" expression.

And the mouse seems the most controlled, but he is having a blast. So cute and funny - I love it.

1 Tamara Turner replies: "Super glad you like it! I always have loved "Alice in Wonderland" so its so great when someone really gets the humour I am trying to convey!"

Truth be told, I've never seen Alice in Wonderland (atleast, if I have, I can't remember it), but your pic looks hilarious! Great job!

So trippy! d= I'm horrible at critiquing cartoons, but I do like this. The only problem I see is that the style is inconsistent between Alice and the rest of the picture, but the composition is really nifty--I like the central focal point that the yellow in the hatter's shirt creates. I guess I'm not a real artist--no hatter in my gallery. But I DO have a Cheshire Cat that I'm gonna upload next ticket! (=

:-) Tamara Turner replies: "Hmmmmm, Alice looks wrong? Perhaps she looks that way since she really doesn't belong in Wonderland. If you look at any original "Alice" illustrations by the great John Tenniel, you'll also notice that Alice doesn't quite fit in.P.s A Cheshire Cat is a good start to becoming an artist 2"

I just love how your range of style is so wide! You can make your characters so serene and beautiful and also so cute and animate!
