This is really beautiful; you have such a great feel for watercolor, a medium I am completely clueless in. I like the sort of netherworldy abstraction going on; very impressed that this bloomed out of such random inspirations! I want her dress... Tamara Turner replies: "Thank you! I am particularily pleased with the way the dress turned out. The original looks so much nicer than the one I have on here. My scanner sucks!"

It would be nice if you could scan it again - only a little darker this time. Maybe with both scans next to each other - we could get a better look at her? I love the hair, and the coloring. I like the background and her dress. I don't think she is an old lady - but I can almost see her as one so - I hope you don't mind. She inspires me. She seems very wise and powerful, but gentle and sweet like a grandmother who bakes cookies and makes families come together. But as her grandchildren sit and enjoy her freshly baked cookies, one thing would never cross into their young imaginations - the fact that this gentle woman once played an important part in history as she served as a powerful mage for the greater good of magical kind in her younger days Tamara Turner replies: "Thank you! I am still new to scanning and am still trying to work out bugs with much frustration The idea behind her age is that she is an old soul. All the wisdom and knowledge of age in a young body. I am very glad that this piece came through to you. You seem to understand it perfectly and for that I thank you!"
