I really love this interpretation of Spring because it's different than the others you'd see in the 'woods--you show her as a child rather than an adult woman. I like the childish look of her face, too--ah, since I know from the forums that you're a Froudian, I take it you know what I'm referring to when I say that it reminds me of the Primrose Faery from GF/BF--the one on the cover. I like how you use an illustrative style but exaggerate it some using abstraction. Very unique. Keep up the good work, Tamara! Tamara Turner replies: "OOOPS!Actually, she is an adult! Perhaps she looks childish, because somewhere I still see the world through the eyes of a child. I find other views of my work fascinating since it lets me look at my work with a fresh pair of eyes. Thank you for the comments!" | |
