i enjoyed your comment, its nice to get criticism or something helpful. something other than "Oh my god you poor soul" or "this is nice".
obviously american? is that bad? being straightforward is my forte, no time for wussy-footing around. Gotta get the job done, no dissertations on life. No hemingway BS there, no three-page paragraph on "The sky is blue. it's blue because... its blue like..."
i hate sally struthers.

Howdy:

Your prophecies reminded me of the DEAD SEA SCROLL that tells about the SONS OF LIGHT waging battle against the forces of evil.

There are several articles by scholars concerning this in the mag "BIBLE ARCHEOLOGY REVIEW." You might find some good background info in "BAR" as this mag is refered to.

Hey there! I've only had time to read your first story, but I thought it was very good. Predictable, but that's what we people like. 2 Very chilling, however - I'm trying to write more macarbe and in the horror industry, but so far I'm suffering from a lack of inspiration. Ah, well. I'll come back one day and read more of your cool stuff. Bye!

Holy crap man, what happened to chapters 6-10! i was going along blazing through your story and bam i hit a butsted link, crap, so i go look at chapter seven as well, broken, Crap! eight, CRap, nine CRAp, ten CRAP!!! i broke down and cried, well maybe not but i still was very upset. so what's up man did you take them down or are they just broken links? if you took them down email me and tell me, maybe *wink wink* you could email me the chapters, cause my curiousity is killing me and i ain't even a cat! ah well i guess i'll just check back in later. *sighs and walks off muttering to himself while waving his hands wildly in the air*

Alright Tom. After you put that comment on my site I just had to come over and set things straight. First of all, the prologue is nothing more than an excerpt, a plot liner. There is no emphasis on character development, however a little insight into character which is essential.

The real stuff begins when you begin chapter 1 - as normally happens in loads of books. So I invite you to come back and read the lot, then please leave your comment.

But remember - all your comment was about your preference. I don't need to know other people's preferences except a publishers / agents, and would prefer just to know how the story worked for you, or if it didn't.

However, I do like your stuff (which regretably I only had little time to read). That comment on "Dead Sea Scrolls" kind of rings true with me as well. Keep going and take care.

Watcha, Moondog

:-) Tom Lloyd replies: "ok, first thing is that if I don't like a prologue, I don't read any more. Secondly, if you don't need to know other people's preferences, then why do you have your work up? Have fun subbing this to my agency anyway, if you are serious about writing then I suggest you take preferences with more consideration."
