| 17 Jan 2012 | Rebecca J Ponsford | Loading...The only think I could suggest with the dragon size is to change the colouring depending on how far forward things are; Going by that head the dragon IS very big, but since the head is coloured the same as the body behind it, it looks smaller. I think this would work very well with the design as it is, if you just adjusted the colour/contrast/tone/sharpness/ect depending on how far forward or back things are, esp the dragon. The head should be the most pronounced/sharp/contrasted/vivid, then the wing and that front claw, then the body, nearest hind leg and tail, then the other legs, then the other wing. The rocks it is standing on is also very similar as the rocks the human is on, so even though the design is great, the colouring makes it flatter then it could be.
All that being said, I do think the design is fantastic; dynamic, enjoyable, with a sense of suspense as both parties are just about to lunge into action. Brilliant! | |
