"A farmer in the wide croplands of Jan Xin (04/2012)" by Philipp "Hadruban" Schlutt

After drawing quite brutal scenes I was fascinated by this idea.

A farmer looking as usual as can be within a wide field of uniform crop plants doing his work and still having a lot of work to do! The asian style of his clothing detracts from the fact that the farmer is no human.

This scene fits to my idea that on "my" fantasy world named Styrn there are lots of different nations partly populated by one race only partly by mixtures of races. And as in every nation there are not only kings, knights, magicians and maids to be saved but also lumberjacks, merchants, bakers and farmers that are important but often untended parts of the cultures and experience their own adventures.

I'm very happy with the final result of this sketch that only took me some few hours to do in the original size of 15x11cm.
