I'm not sure how to explain this one, I had a friend who used to have a wooden pose able artists model, didn't use it much and she kept it up on a high shelf. Each time I came over I would move it a little bit, when she finally caught on I told her it was trying to escape. So I guess these images are Fantasy in the vain of Toy Story and the Nut Cracker, What do toys do, or in this case Wooden Articulated Artists Models do when no one is looking, and how do they get down from a high shelf? I created these figures originally as part of a clip art portfolio using Visio Illustrator and Photoshop. I've found an interesting technique. I find it easy to prototype things with Visio, but the curves tend to be rough. However If you create the image in Visio (must be flat color no gradient) then copy and paste it into Illustrator you can use the simplify paths tool under Object>Path>Simplify (set the Curve precision to about 97%) to get a really clean professional lines defined by the min number of points, but without changing the shape of the image much. When I try to do a complex images in Illustrator I find it still takes me three times as long as it takes me if I use Visio, Maybe that’s just me but I thought I'd pas on the tip.
