Just after his crucifiction, the son of God saw an angel descend. The thought came to him that his Father might save him, but then again the angel might only be a messenger. When the angel landed he saw through a curtain of blood that dripped in his eyes that she had a cup in her hand. Her skin looked bright red because of the blood in his eyes. It was not until she came closer, that he saw her skin actually was bright red and a red-glowing halo floated above her head. Her eyes were black and she had a pentagram carved in her shoulder. She walked up to him, led some of his blood drip in the cup. She sat down, drank his blood and then she smiled just before she flew away again.

:-) Tommie Leijs replies: "I sound a bit satanistic through this description, don't I?! Well, just to reassure you, I'm not. *hehe* It just was something that I had in my head while I drew this picture. Nothing more... Every picture has its story, right?!"

That's a weird back-story. It does sound a little Satanic.... You're going to get that annoying exclamation-mark person to complain again, but who cares. Mean angel... she could at least have waited until He was dead and not got His hopes up like that. *Pokes the angel*

:-) Tommie Leijs replies: "I'm not satanic tho'! And let exclamation-mark-man come (doesn't that sound like a wonderful new superhero?!) ... he doesn't scare me, allthough he does scare my cat."

Would have been pretty cool if you had made her wings black like a raven's rather than white but hey, 'tis your choice, lovin' the picture, as well as all your other ones, and Mr. X aka Bob has funny comments in my opinion, not haha funny but sort of amusing...

:-) Tommie Leijs replies: "I thought about black wings, but I wanted to do something a little bit different. And this I liked better... I tried the black thing, but it just didn't appeal to me as much as this."

I like the picture It's very well drawn, despite being somewhat disproportionate. You know what I mean by that. 2 And, may I ask, what does the pentagram have to do with it? If it's a symbol of protection (from the deities, God, whatever you'd like to call it) then it may be wise to say so, as many people are uneducated. If it is being used as a "devil star" like most believe it is, then I'm happy to say that it isn't, and is used for protection. Once again, great job on the pic, nice wings especially.

:-) Tommie Leijs replies: "Hmm... thanx for educating me. Never too old to learn. I thought it was a sign of the devil it is pictured upside down. If not, I'm apologize to all peepz who I've offended with this."

The pentagram stands for protection from evil spirtis (and things like that). But when turned upside down, it becomes the symbol of the devil. That's why it is known as the upside star(or turnes star). So you got it right 2

:-) Tommie Leijs replies: "Thanx... I thought as much."

Theoretically, if she drank of His blood, she would be saved from anything evil and would be redeemed as all othere for whom the blood was shed. No one has commented on the theological angle. but you can’t ignore it in a Crucifixion theme.
