A shiny sphere crashed from the heavens. Curious as fairies can be, they are the first of the wood to behold its bright radiance.

A story, a beautiful colouring, a nice drawing (fairies are so cute). Nothing else to add.

I like its composition. It shows their curiosity and keeps the sphere important part of the picture. And I also like the colours. (Btw, it also reminds me on one story... One old SF comics from our country. People from the Earth sent a robot to explore another planet. The robot was in an egg-shaped something...something like spaceship or what it was. When local people saw it landing, first they thought it comes from their sun. Then they saw it better and thought the robot was born from a sun egg. They were curious exactly like your fairies are. What was your story? What is that sphere thing?)

30 Tommy De Coninck replies: "I have seen that movie too. Black 'n white oldschool stuff. I did not inspire me to make this painting, but it has similatities. Strange that many people think about space-stuff looking at my faerie-forest."

It reminds me of a creepy story about a stone that fell from the sky and had colorful seeds in it. "A color from space"? Maybe that was the title. Dunno. But don't get me wrong, your oic sn't creepy at all! ^^ I really like the watercolor-ish, nice colors!

26 Tommy De Coninck replies: "Egg from space, colors included. Yeah why not. If UFO's fly around our world, then why not around fantasy worlds?"

Beautiful. I like how it is a little abstract, almost as if the orb emits so much light it fades away all the details.

12 Tommy De Coninck replies: "Yes, the orb (egg) is the famous detailfader. Feared by many and... (details missing) ..."

This is quite possibly one of my favorites in your gallery...Though I’m not sure why there are restrictions on it... The use of colour is wonderful...and now I’m weaving an elaborate story to go with it. Perhaps I’ll open a section in the library so I can add it.

3 Tommy De Coninck replies: "It would be an honour to read that story."

Fairies flying oh so free
Flitting around
Soaring cautiosly
For fear of the humans
That will come to kill
And take their wings
Against their will

2 I thank you graciously, for your marvelous picture has awakened a lovely poem from within me! You are truly talented.
