| 3 Jul 2003 | Mitzy | Possetively superb: your pictures look amazingly life-like. I wish I had amazing talent such as being successful at Photoshop, along with the patience to do so!
Keep it up! ~Mitzy | |
| 3 Jul 2003 | Caitlin E.M. Henderson | Yes, I'm finding that same thing right now... I can actually /finish/ things when I do them on the computer, which is something I've never been able to do when using paints. I got bored so fast. Your photoshop stuff is awesome - I agree with Mark, it really suits sci-fi. It must take you forever. Tommy Martin replies: "I'm thinking that I'll probably be able to finish even more work, being as inspired as I am by all the excellent feedback from all the talented people on this site. Or least I would finish more if I can get out of this endless loop of replying to comments and visiting commenters galleries... The airbrush work does take a lot of time, but it's a strangely compulsive activity. And it's getting faster as I learn more tricks. " | |
| 4 Jul 2003 | Kirsten 'Niliphim' Cartoski | Hello Tommy. I'm SO glad you've joined Elfwood! I usually tend to meander in the Lothlorien section of the 'woods', but I must admit, yours is one of the few Zone galleries I've thoroghly LOVED. I hope to see more updates out of you, sir! Especially of Coda- that machine reminds me a good deal of the book, "Dune: The Butlerian Jihad". Anyway, your techniques are wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. I can empathize with the many layers in Photoshop, however. That seems to be the way I accomplish anything with that program. I hope you enjoy your stay in Elfwood! We're happy to have you with us! Kudos! Niliphim Tommy Martin replies: "Hey, I'm glad I joined Elfwood, too Thanks for your kind words, Niliphim... Right then, back to photoshop...." | |

| 21 Feb 2004 | Alinta - flame of the morning | Marvellous and I've looked at the Coda 128. Very interesting idea. I hope you get trillions of hits. Tommy Martin replies: "Me too.. Thanks." | |
| 22 Feb 2004 | Me, of course. | Well,I love your work. It is truley the best science fiction work I have seen in years. Such simple thoughts with the most elaboated pictures. We need more artist like you. Most work for gore,or for just something wacky. Or cleavage. But,no,you, you have found the perfect things and made them more perfect. I am in love with your work. Tommy Martin replies: "Shucks... you're too kind. But thanks anyway.. " | |
