And for a wee suggestion I can say that you could try to make some sort of structure for the different things, as like scales or scratches on armor ect. With like... Anything I gues. Like forks, sandpaper, toast, whool, wood, cut toenails I dunno ^_^ there's alot of stuff... Just so everything isn't completly smooth. But be carefull so you don't do too much... Then it'll just look sloppy.
