| 14 Dec 2007 | Jennifer Deese | Loading...Wow, the background is so vast and pretty... You so good at working on small details... I'm practicing backgrounds now, and it ain't easy... Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Jennifer! Good for you, for working on backgrounds. You know who you can talk to if you need/want any assistance.I am interested in seeing what you have been working on " | |
| 14 Dec 2007 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...I really like the lighting in this one, the way the sunlight is speckled on her leg and the shadows in the rest of the painting. Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks John!" | |
| 14 Dec 2007 | Marika Viklund | Loading...Beautiful and detailed as always! Great realism too! Cuuuute dragonfly! Can I have one? ^^ Tony Orzech replies: "Sure you can have one, Marika .... if you can, first, be near the water when it's larval form emerges onto a sunny rock, and you are there to witness the emergence of the dragonfly-dragon as it breaks out of the back of the larval skin and warms itself in the sun as it's wings fill with it's life fluids and than if you have the great fortune to have it take flight and land on you and use you as a soft, warm perch from which to rest and launch itself, to test it's new wings and grab it's first meal as a creature of the air and not of the water. Then, and only then, will there be an unbreakable bond between you and a dragonfly-dragon. If it was easy, we would all have one. So good luck with that ;-) (The above description is based on the transformation of a dragonfly larva to a dragonfly that I witnessed on a rock beach where I have spent many a summer day, growing up. I have only had the honor of seeing it once and I hope I have the chance again some day ;-) I will have to do a drawing of the 'unbreakable Bond' idea, some day. Thanks for the comment Marika " | |
| 14 Dec 2007 | Karu Hernandez | Loading...OHHH!!! I like it a lot... the landscape is amazing *_* Tony Orzech replies: "hanks Karu! Always nice to hear from you " | |
| 15 Dec 2007 | Kharmii | Loading...Very nice! I like the shine on her skin through the leaves of the tree, however, her left shoulder seems a bit long. Nice work on the details on the ground. It looks so realistic! Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks for the comment Michelle! And, yes, if the left shoulder was bare I would agree with you. But when you add in the bulk of the sleeve of her tunic, the chain-mail and the shoulder plate that is under the chain-mail... I think you get the idea. ;-) " | |
| 17 Dec 2007 | Anne Wipf | Loading...Nice details. I love the landscape. Tony Orzech replies: "Thank you Anne " | |
| 22 Dec 2007 | Carmen Janine Ryan | Loading...Wow...I have many pictures to catch up on but this one was always one of my faves (bar the tangled mermaids of course ) The light across her arm is definitely my favourite thing in the whole pic! and the scene she is looking down on still stunning ^_^ Just HAD to comment again! Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Carmen. It's always a pleasure. Welcome back ;-)" | |
| 2 Jan 2008 | Jenna 'Kaikisuka' Linn Barton | Loading...You know, the first thing I noticed about this picture was the lighting (you may be converting me yet, Tony...) See how it filters through the trees? The way it speckles her clothing? It's a shaded area, which gives it a feeling of safety and a good distance from the sunny battlefield (I mean sunny literally...in no sense is a battle 'sunny'). Now, I'm beginning to see what you mean. Without lighting, what is a picture, neh? Very very good, this is one of my favorites. Hehe...she's almost as gorgeous as I am. (Hah! There's a joke...) Tony Orzech replies: "I'm working on converting your creative soul so you will see (and paint/draw) the light .... and shadows .... and reflected light .... and so on.Maybe if I change her hair to blond she would be closer to your level of gorgeous ;-)" | |
| 27 Feb 2008 | Lucie Mueller | Loading...beautiful!! I love the colors. this morning looks so peacefull but as it seems there has been a battle. was she involved in it? because she looks quite happy... just wondering ^ Tony Orzech replies: "Hi Lucy! She is a scout who came upon this scene. She is probably from a 3rd allegiance and not bothered by the aftermath of the battle between two rival forces (at least that is one possible story line ;-). " | |
| 11 Feb 2009 | Richard Zachmann | Loading...VERY cool... and a wonder to look at. Tony Orzech replies: "Thanks Richard. This is one of my favorites to do." | |
