Tag As FavoriteComment		This is my part to a collaborative oil painting called an Exquisite Corps. The canvas size is 24 inches X 36 inches and is divided into 8 sections. One section per artist or a rotation between 2 or more artists. As each section is completed, it is covered except for about 1/2 inch along the edge for the next artist to work from. If done well, it will end up as a type of metamorphosis from one section to the next. The blank area you see here is for the next artist to fill in. I wonder how well a digital version of an Exquisite Corps would work? ;-) The artist who started this Exquisite Corps chose a theme; Pick a word and paint a description of that word, placing the word in the painting as well. So... Meet Gus, He is a fun little guy. His friends call him fun Gus ;-) Painted section is 12 inches X 18 inches. Completed 2/08, About 25-30 hours.
